I have 4 years NCB now. Nic. (partner) has been a named driver on my policy for the past 3 renewals and a named driver on her Mum's for the past 2 I think. She has never held insurance in her own name, so has no NCB of her own.
We may need a second car in the not too distant future - is there still a way of negociating a couple of years NCB for her on the basis of good behaviour in a "performance" car these last couple of years and being over 25?
She has taken a liking to nice sensible cars - Like Scoobs etc. and wants a Honda S2000. (group 20 ) I can't say "no" on insurance grounds to having one of those on the driveway, now can I???
I know she should have insured an old 1 litre nova 3rd party (group 2) for a couple of years previously, but we didn't have the money due to uni etc. and living in central London. (We don't live there now)
Sorry, the post has got a bit long now...

There are policies out there designed for this sort of thing, they will either give her a percentage introductory discount, or reflect some of if not all of you percentage discount, but these policies are aimed at vehicles upto group 15, you still however maybe able to find a company that will do this on a group 20 vehicle.
Try some of these
clicky
Good luck
