Exclamation

Hi all,

My beloved Sti 5's insurance is up for renewal in June and what I would like is a listing of those companies that can insure "JAP Imports"

I have trudged through most of the forum but can't seem to find a list of just those that do imports , and to include those that can do mods (for future :P)

I would appreciate some feedback so I can try and limit my time phoning around.

One's I have on my list so far include:
Egg, Liverpool Vict, Adrian Flux, Schofields....

Cheers all!
Graeme

Been doing this myself over the last couple of days, only 2 would touch me (25) and the missus(22) for a half decent quote : - Tesco, with a tracker & 500 excess, or the renewel from Barclaycard, no tracker, 100 quid excess.
Didn't take much thinking about

I.e. Tescos, direct line and privilege.

Strange
I am with barclaycard, swopping from my present car, to my03 Sti RA.
Spoke to Barclaycard a week ago, I was told that tracker was required!! As I would have had one fitted anyway I'm no over worried.
But goes to show the lack of consistancy.

so far Liverpool Victoria is the cheapest for me at £982 with £350 xcess and £910 with 400 excess.

I thought it was strange that I wasn't asked for alarm, immobiliser, tracker etc details as everyone else did. Oh and they also insured it automatically for business use as well!

still have more on my list to call, so any better I'll post here.

Quote based on: 30yr old, MY99 STi5 9yrs prot NC, x2 none fault claims 3yrs ago, no convictions, usual etc etc.
