Has anyone insured their MY03 with Liverpool & Victoria??

If so what is the description under vehicle insured?

Just received documents for my new car - due to collect on Saturday & therefore have to provide evidence of insurance to allow the dealer to tax - & despite confirming on the call to get the quote that it was for an STi, the cover note says WRX!

On querying with L&V they claim not to have the STi in their system!!

Anyone help??

Try and get the ABI code for the vehicle, this is a code assigned to all makes and model of vehicles for insurance purposes.
There was a post on here a couple months ago with the web address.

No help but I had this with L & V twice.

Tried to get a quote for an STi off 2 different people there and both said they did not have the car in the system.

I did not have a problem, they even quoted me on a JDM WRX STi MY03.

Mine is currently listed as a import sti ! with a note on the file that as soon as the my03 sti is coded by their underwriters it will change.

get it in writing, you should be fine.

They do have the MY02 STi Type UK on their books, ensure when you tell them its an STi you tell them that its a Type UK!

I had an underwriter who couldn't give me a quote 'cos they didn't have the code for a five door!
