HI EVERYONE,IM NEW TO SCOOBYNET,I AM DUE TO TAKE DELIVERY OF A MY03 WRX IN MARCH AND I WONDERED IF ANYONE HAS HAD ANY EXPERIENCES WITH LIVERPOOL & VICTORIA IE WITH PARALLEL UK IMPORTS.ARE THEY DEARER TO INSURE THAN UK SPEC CARS? DO THEY ASK FOR PROOF OF BEING PARALLEL SPEC? I AM 38YRS OLD AND I AM A CONVERT SINCE SELLING A 1980 RS2000.

Yep, we are with Liverpool Vic and they were VERY competitive, and I`m on the insurance this year........

don't look anywhere else than Liverpool Victoria
There are plenty of reasnoable companies other than LV -
Try Tom Schofield (Subaru Insured) for one
But as always remember to check what you actually get for your money. Its no good crying if (God forbid) you need to claim and find your not as well covered as you thought.
You have to decide exactly what you want your insurance to cover before you buy
