Question

I have a MY02 WRX and MY98 Sport. Insured for both other half and myself. My renewal was - gasp - £2,100 which was reduced to £1,800 after complaining!

Have full protected NCB but was for only one car and the insurance broker I'm with transfered my NCB from the Legacy 2.5 that I had before to the Sport with full whack on the WRX.

Anyway, I'm 40 and the other half 38, no convictions etc and living in rural Oxon. Am I mad expecting to be paying far less?

I;ve been told that NCB can't be transfered and as the missis slid the old (don't laugh please!) MX5 a year ago on ice and banged in to another car, nothing mega serious, it's impossible to move?????

Any pointers would be most welcome! Need to renew on 17th.

Cheers!

:-)

Mike
