Question

That dreaded time of year has come again when I have to start looking for a renewal quote!

Car: MY98 standard apart from Prodrive Spoiler
Me: Age 24, No claims, No convictions, good postcode

Have been doing the phoning around thing with the following results:

Elephant £1242 (not mentioned spoiler)
Greenlight £1200
Liverpool Victoria will NOT insure anyone under 30 on Imprezas!!

Anybody got any better suggestions? Feeling these are a bit steep

Cheers

I feel that those prices are awsome with no, no claims.
Last year with a standard Scoob at 23 with 4 yrs NCB cost me over £1100.

Just did an online quote with Tesco - £1024 ...................
BUT they require a tracking device and the minimum they will accept is a Tracker Monitor @ £500 making the quote £1524

callum; hate to break it to ya mate, but LV WILL quote on under 30's!

Im 25! And i live in the county's 3rd highest risk city (Nottingham)

They're pulling your chain mate.

As other have said; try LV again and tell you know their game and try Aplan, Greenlight (really knowledgeable) and maybe drop *Rum (TomB) a line and see what you can sort out.

Woohoo!! Just went with Greenlight - £1070 with 400 excess

Had some funny ones on the way though! - £2429 with Direct Line, Peugeot Insurance wanted a £1000 excess to be anywhere near competitive! I think £1070 is pretty good

Thanks for all the help / advice guys!

Cheers,

Calum

Wink

Try Hyperformance Insurance - No one could get near them for me - £800 and no requirement for a Tracker like most others!
