I am seriously considering running two silly grouped cars (ie the Skyline and Possible a Scooby or 200sx runnabout)... Now ordinary quotes for the scooby/200 are just over £1,000 and the skyline already costs £1350 pa to insure, the missus already has a car too, so I'm going to end up paying £3k pa for insurance - surely a lunatic amount, is there anything I can do to reduce this?

Would a trade policy be worth while, I'd happily buy small cars at auction to resell as a sideline, so is trade insurance a go-er? How do others manage?
