My premium with Tesco for MY02 WRX is about £550 with a total excess of £400.

For adding a 'Large rear spoiler' (value £250 to £1000) they want to charge an extra £126. (More than a quote for an STi with rear spoiler in place and more power) Considering the excess, they seem to expect the spoiler to get stolen annually OK it makes the entire car more attractive to (some) thieves, but they insisted on Tracker for just such an eventuality.

Anyone know of mods that are free with Tesco, gearknob perhaps?

I just renewed my insurance with them and asked a lot of questions on this subject ...

What is not counted by Tesco ..

Morettes,Clear Side indicators , Gear ***** ....Spoiler extensions (same spoiler but raised up ....TSL)

What is counted ..
Performance upgrades in catagories <=10% , 10%->20% , etc etc ..
Front/Rear or Side Skirts (Not sure why but hey their decision !)
Cost me an extra £90 for my Decat centre + Magnex 6X4 < 10% power gain ..
