Greenlight say NO.

Just thought i'd pass on this information for anybody with a project scoob in thier gargage without insurance. Having had my scoob locked away for the last few months whilst i carried out some major tuning and modifications, i phoned GreenLight for insurance, the quote was very cheap, however, since my car has been uninsured for more than 4 weeks, they refused to insure me. The excuse was lame, about people not having insurance must be spending major amounts of cash on mods and cant afford insurance, i even told him i was paying the cash there and then in full, very disapointed. Tesco done the job in the end.

All these bloody insurance firms are crooks, dont it just **** you off, any excuse to add a few hundred quid here and there on your policy. There adverts on tv should be banned for false advertising.

i am only 28 and this year could only find 5 insurance companies in total who would insure me on my p1 which i have had for over a year as they now say they do not insure people under 30 for group 20 cars, they go quiet when i ask them why they quoted me last year
