Hi,
Just wondered how much extra did PPP add to your insurance??
I am with Tesco's and they couldn't find PPP "is that bodywork?" Crumbs they must have been asked before
but said if 'I chip' it 10-20% power increase would be £73 and the same for Xhorst . so £550 + lowering £70 + PPP (chip+ Xhorst!!) £146
£766
If at Tesco's will have to have better info and they better get their act together
Tony

We're looking at a max of 12.5% for the PPP...however this will be discussed with underwriters on a case by case basis...obviously, if a client is paying £1,500 p/a, we will be look to reduce the percentage
I am still discussing this with the underwriters, and I am trying to get them to agree to a flat fee of circa £70.00 p/a regardless of premium...at the end of the day the risk is the same whatever the basic premium is being paid by the customer...
Trouble is as we all know, there is a distinct lack of info as to the cost, performance gain etc of the PPP...we have been working on (and this is purely to get an idea) 305 bhp (approx 15% inc) and £1,750 as cost...obviously if the cost and % power increase is more then we might have to revisit our discussions with underwriters...
