Default Business use car insurance

Having read a number of believable scenarios where someone does a favour for a friend/ relative which is work related and gets done for no business insurance, I now include it on all my vehicles. It costs nothing and ticks that box. At least it did until I retired. Now insurers can't understand why I need it. I'm currently trying to insure my 40+ year old motorbike. Last year I rode it 600 miles. Insurers still quibble. One has actually declined to quote. My classic car does about 1000 miles a year. Those insurers were sympathetic and we eventually said I was a delivery driver. At 15mpg, that's an expensive delivery. Fun though.
I should add I don't get paid for any of this.

Or you could give an insight into brokers or insurers take on the OP's thread, rather than touting as usual.

Hi.
Unfortunately most insurers don't cover any form of business use under classic car schemes regardless of the type of vehicle or annual mileage. We have schemes that can cater for perimeters that normally fall outside of standard classic policies such as business use, un-garaged, higher mileage, only vehicle etc.
Obviously no one is obliges to try us but we are here if they wish too.
Regards,
Dan.
