Default Thanks Sky and Greenlight

Big thanks to Greenlight for 2 years trouble free cover but this time around Sky have come in at a very very good price so have moved over with them, hopefully they will be as good as Greenlight have been

Similar here Ross. However, I have moved to SKY from Keith Michaels.
Gary was great to deal with, however couldn't match Sky's super competitive price. Anyway, thanks to KM for everything - maybe I'll be back next year if your quote comes back more competitive.

greenlight are great at giving you a good price, its when you need them after that they are terrible, customer service goes out the window, id never touch them again! took over a month to get my money back after i cancelled and about 10 phonecalls

There really is no consistency when it comes to insurers. Greenlight insured my supercharged EP3 a few years back and I chose to cancel the policy after a few months because I was offered good money for the car and it was time to move on. I called Greenlight and I had a cheque on my doorstep a week later.
Why do insurers treat everyone so differently?

Furthermore, Greenlight were good at one thing, but not very competitive for the STI and that is why I went with Keith Michaels. This time KM were not as competitive as SKY insurance. Loyalty simply does not pay any more. Similar to mobile phone companies - they used to fight to keep your custom and most retention teams were exactly that. Nowadays it's so different.

one of the main reasons ive took a break from subarus just now as im nearly 40 years old with 17 years no claims and they still want what i was paying for cars when i was a 17year old idiot in a car, excuses after excuses every year for putting it up and very poor customer service of the "specialist" insurance companies and id had enough, thinking of buying another but rip of insurance prices puts me off again

Really? That comment seems slightly harsh when you consider your renewal from us was £100 cheaper than last year.
On this occasion Sky were massively cheaper than the rest of the market, but that doesn't mean we weren't loyal to you.

Sorry you read that wrong. I was talking about customer loyalty; Ie me not staying with KM - not the other way around.

Must have read it wrong

Lots of people accuse insurers of not being loyal buy putting up prices without reason.... and that's certainly NOT something we do

Sorry we couldn't help this year, hopefully next year we might be able to

Hi Gary, any chance of sending my proof of no claims through mate. It's been two weeks and my new insurers are chasing me for it.
Thanks,
Dibs
