Battery went flat overnight on me Saab. Called the AA who got it started and suggested that a new battery was needed. Drove to Halfords and on the way noticed that the display on the R/C was reading "WELCOME" and "SONY" plus the numerical display was going like the clappers and the mega-bass icon was expanding and contacting....looked a bit rude to be honest
Anyway new battery fitted and all's well except for the display which does as described when on or off but seems to work okay otherwise. Have tried reset twice.....still does it. Manual is no help.....Ideas?

Sounds like some kind of demo type mode. scroll through the menu on the headunit, I think their is an option in there to turn it off.
