Firstly, forgive my lack of knowledge on the audio side of things.

Can audio steering wheels controls be retro-fitted?

I have a Pioneer DVD headunit and some old controls from a previous car that I owned. Am I right in thinking that if I get the correct Pioneer interface box thing (techinical term ) that matches the headunit and the controls, I could plug it all together and it should work?

Am I missing something vital here?

If it helps, my car is a blob WRX and the controls are from an MG ZS.
