Hi all,

I want to fit a OEM style stereo to my classic STI. I've been Looking at the MY07 onwards stereo because they have the CD changer & MP3 IPod connectivity that I want.

They look like a standard double din, but I've been told by a seller on ebay that it isn't compatable with an older model. Anyone know any reason why?

Good enough stereo mste but have you had a close look at the wiring plugs lol

Ps I can easy measure it for you but I assume its something to do with the wiring

 

Looking at the photos on ebay it looks like a usual ISO connector. Assuming the small square 1 is for iPod connection?

its the fact they have a security link to the ecu on the car and without this communication they lock up and wont work
