Alpine Sat Nav Unit
#1
Guys,
I have the Alpine Sat Nav unit with the motorised screen and cannot remember how to set the default position. I have lost the manual and it is really bugging me.
When the unit opens, the screen folds out to about 75 degrees and then I have to use the < > buttons to move it to the 90 degree position - can anyone help me set this as a default.
Thanks
Rod

Sounds like you don't have a permanent +12v supply. The h/u will remember the position as long as you have the permanent +12v. Bear in mind this is both the permanent +12v to the processor unit and to the h/u. I'd suggest the +12v supply to your head unit itself is actually the problem. Check which wire you're picking up from the ISO connector - Alpines usually get these connections backwards.
Happy connecting!
