Best place to get earth to the battary?
Going try fit my sub tonight, i am **** at these kind of things but will have ago 
Where best place to get earth into the car? any gommets anywhere?

The whole body of a car is essentially the earth (neutral return to the battery) on the majority of cars, Subarus included. Just drill a suitable hole in the metal work, scrape a bit of the paint away around it, ring terminal on the cable, self tapping screw and washer to secure it into the hole you've drilled.

If you dont know what your doing it might be worth getting someone to fit it for you. its easy for a car fire to get out of control. make sure the main red wire is fused.
