Speaker adapter plates - Legacy B4
Just bought some 6.5" speakers front and back for my new legacy and apparently i'm going to need some speaker plates, will a halfords special do the trick (ie pick one that looks about right) or dop i have to make them, i'm putting in alpine r series so thneyre pretty deep

No. Don't use the Halfords/Corsa speaker adapters. Work of the devil.
Get a pair of these, that's what I used for my Wagon. You just need to drill a couple of tiny holes but they work a treat.
I installed my components in 15 mins per door.
