Default Pioneer Avic x1

Hi all

Ive had my x1 radio now for a while so decided it was time to get a sub and amp installed into the boot. So got myself and 500watt amp and a 1000watt jbl sub. So thats all wired up now. The remote wire is connected as well as the speaker wires, earth and positive. Ive pressed the "sub woofer" button to turn it on however its not doing nothing. So basically what i want too know is how do i make the sub work

Cheers guys

So it turns out the amp was goosed. Bought myself another Aamp today and got it all fitted however the "Protect" light is coming on. Ive had the jbl sub tested so i know its not that. Would the best thing to do next, is to rewire the whole wiring system from the battery back??

Whats everyones thoughts??

How are you feeding the inputs to the sub (audio) is it via speaker outputs from the H/U or RCA cables?

Also what's the gain on the amp set to?

Also what gauge wire have you run for the amp power and earth?

Was done via Rca's mate. I left it to the audio shop to fit in the end however think this had some effect on messing the touch screen up

Bought myself a new loom off ebay and it works a treat so far.
