Default Stealth Sub Enclosure

Got a WRX Wagon which I want to put a sub into the boot, to take some of the load off my twee Pioneer Coaxes.

Not looking for massive thud; to sound off in Morrisons carpark on Saturday nights, just improved in-car audio.

I bought a wagon for it's practicality as well as it's performance, and often fold the seats down to sling my Mountain Bike in the back.

To this end, I need decent bass response in a small package, probably in a bespoke enclosure behind the n/s/r wheel arch. I would like everything to be hidden away, so that there are no cables to snag when putting MB in and out of boot. Also, the cone would have to be protected against puncturing.

Can anyone recommend components that respond well in these cramped conditions, and possibly some design tips and tricks?

Perhaps you have a similar install? I would love to see some pictures

Thanks

Yeah, will do... Got it from the 'Bay for about £145 with the postage...

Going to do a temporary install onto the standard head, for now, and wait for the Android compatable head units to become a bit less buggy and a bit more intuitive

Hi, I'm very interested in how you get on with this as looking to add a bit of bass to my setup. Was thinking about getting a custom enclosure made for the side/corner of the boot but if an under seat option does the job then that's even tidier.

Cheers,
Dave B
