Ok, i've fitted vibe speakers in my last few cars and not had a problem. Until now.....
I fitted a set of Vibe Lite Air 6 1/2'' components in the hawk. Great sound quality and nice light weight units i was impressed with them. Then it started sounding like the cone was split. So i stripped the door down and found the magnet detached from the speaker unit and just sitting there doing nothing. I glued the unit back together myself thinking it was a one off. Liking the sound quality and thinking it was a one off i ordered a second set for the hawk. Now one of the other speakers has decided the magent doesn't want to be attached to the speaker basket.
So 2 sets of speakers and 2 magnets thats have detached.... I've emailed the place i bought them from but haven't heard anything back yet. I'll give them till monday before i get in touch with Vibe directly.

Has anyone else had any issues with Vibe speakers and the magents detaching or am i just jinxed?

used vibe many times before with no issues at all, used there subs, components, amps and coaxels with no problem, even did a vibe demo evo iv lol may b a case of 'not made how they used to be'?

Bit strange how it's just the Lite Air 6 1/2'' speakers i have. The normal components (i.e. not Lite Air) in the blob have been faultless for a few years. Hope the Lit Air 12'' sub in the bood doesn't fall apart! Might need to email Vibe anyway to cover all the bases...

ye and do a seach on google see if its a common fault?
