Component front door wiring help needed
Hello all. Don't flame me....tried the search and couldn't find what I needed.
Removing standard speakers from 2007 STi and installing 16.5cm components using a spacer. Have had a look at the inside with the door off. The mid has a ropey old two pin connection on it. Am I right in thinking that this is just two cables (-&+) and I run this to the crossover, then back to the component mid and up to the new tweeter having removed the old one? If that makes sense?
Thanks in advance!

It may depend on what make you have , or head unit?
I have Infinity Kappas, and think if I can remember, that you have the main wire from the head unit into the crossover unit, Then you attatch the mid and tweeter wires in there respective connections?
If you google Subaru front speaker replacment you should get some advice, one such site gives detail description on how to fit and mount front and rear speakers.
Good luck Paul

Great thank you Paul.
Where it says ''The existing wiring ends in a 'T' shaped connector which, if you hold the connector in a 'T' position, the positive terminal is the vertical connector and the negative terminal is the horizontal connector'' is what I am asking about. From these two connections am I right in thinking this is the main +&- supply to go to the crossover then subsequently back out to the mid and the tweeter?
