New Head Unit Suggestions
I think it's time for a new head unit. I've been looking at the Alpine units but am unsure which is the best suited for me. It has to have;
So WHY?
- ipod/iphone compatibility
- ideally but not essential, have a memory card reader
So WHY?

Go for Kenwood.
The headunit I'm using has an iPod connection and you can control the songs through the headunit without haveing to change it on the iPod itself so is safer when driving.

I did my final disatation in uni and I had to build a multimedia system for cars etc. Did loads of research and the Kenwood as well as a few others have the best built in headunit amp.

I've got an Alpine CDE-104BTi sat in the garage. It came out of the new Litchfield last week - within an hour of the car arriving. I-pod lead with it and a USB slot on the front and i do believe it has bluetooth for mobile's (probably not an iPhone though as they don't seem to connect to anything). The Mic cable is still stuck on the A pillar...
No idea how it all works as i never even tried it, i fitted the new TV/DVD thing as soon as i could.
