Default Iphone 4 holder

Anyone got advice on buying a solid, neat iphone 4 holder for my hawkeye STI?

Leaning toward a Brodit unit as I want to install near my Kenwood KVT627DVD.

Pics would be good

Can't give you pics, but had Brodit mounts for the Brodit holders for nokia/iphone and I don't think you can beat them for a solid and reliable fitting

I have a brodit for my iPhone 4 and they are really good. They are adjustable to so they'll fit with all different kinds of cases.
You might not want it mounted next to the stereo as thats where i have it and I get interference during handsfree phone calls.
I have to take the phone off e mount and put it next to the handbrake! Not ideal!

Looking for a iPhone 3GS cradle/holder which uses sticky 3M, to hold to the centre console.

Does the Brodit recommended in post 2 utilise this method??

Just found this company in the USofA, http://www.arkon.com/iPhone_Car_Mount.php
They utilise the 'sticky' method, & it should still work when I upgrade to a newer model iPhone 5 (when it gets released!), due to "It features laterally adjustable support legs and a strong spring-loaded mechanism which securely grips your phone"

Google/Ebay 'Spiderpodium' I laughed at my brother when he showed me the link, but when i've seen it, it's freakin' awesome! legs are real firm so the phone can't 'fall out' when braying it and it will go ANYWHERE best £4 i've ever spent!

Anyone tried these?

How well do they stick to uneven surfaces and how practical are they?

Got mine from Argos. It's a stick in the window jobie. ****e you may think but it is very solid and the best bit is I've drilled a hole in line with the camera lense so now I can film my track antics. The quality is excellent, no vibration at all.

I've bought the Bracktron dash mount and, first impressions, are very favourable. I can confirm it sticks very well to the dashboard with its sticky mount and the phone seems to be held very securely with space between the legs for the charging cable. Phone just pushes on and peels off with no residue - easy.

When the sticky bits get gummed up with fingerprints, fluff, etc, etc you just wash with water and leave to dry and you are back to full sticky again although, strangely, these instructions are not included with the device.
