Hi,

I am relatively new to this ICE stuff, but would quite like to improve what I have got. This is in a pug 306, but i am only after general advice.

I already have a basic Sony headunit/changer, but I would like to improve the speakers. I believe that the front speakers can be 17cm without too much fiddling, but I am not sure about those on the rear shelf. I don't really want a sub, so do I need to fit slightly larger speakers on the shelf to add the bass? Also the ones in the front would be coaxs (or not componenet as I don't want to have to find where to place the tweeters.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Also I have seen some 6x9s advertised, what does the 6x9 mean? Sorry if this is a daft question.

Cheers

Chris

Hi Chiark,

Do you ever do any work as you always respond really quick, not that I'm moaning or anything

Ok so if I were to go for componenets, which would you recomend. I have scouted some MB Quart RSB-215s being sold for 75ono, what are they like and are they a good deal. I don't really want to spend a lot of money and so am looking at second hand stuff.

Also how easy are they to fit, and what tools am I likely to need?

Cheers
