I'll check the specs to see what the height is...

...if I can find 'em!

Question

I read on Chiark's site that Kenwood 10 disc changers will fit under the passenger seat. I was curious if anyone (Chiark ?) knew the height of those changers? I am installing a 12 disc Pioneer changer (CDX-P1270) in my scooby next week, and would like to know if it would fit under the passenger seat. I have not finalised any decision to place it under there, other than that I will settle for placing it in the boot. If anyone has any suggestions (no rude ones thank you), where best to place it in the boot, please feel free to advise

Thanks guys, any help appreciated. I will be carrying out the install Monday/Tuesday. Chiark, did you build a complete enclosure for your subs, or is that a single piece of MDF ? I like that fact that you do not lose too much boot space, and it looks neat and tidy

OK mine is CDX-P1250.

Installed in boot as per piccie

Size (CDX-P1250) is 260mm long (320mm including mounting plates), 90mm wide, 190mm high (you'll need to leave room to remove magazine above this though).

Hope it helps
