Jimi/Chiark...
This is the same type of problem my mate with the Forester had. Loads of wires for a single aerial......
How we got round it was to buy a 'T' connector and joined the 2 together (something to do with the Jap aerial not being as efficient as the UK ones....)
Does this help?
Dan

Hi guys
I have sorted ouy my problem,i used the black wire as an earth which was correct,i then tried the white wire but that did not do anything,i then connected the white wire with the black strip and there we go,a fully working eletric aerial.
Thanks for your help
