HELP - new HU install
just installed new D.Din Pioneer touch screen HU today in my 07 WRX, such an easy install with an adapter harness, cannot get the radio working though.
Unplugged the radio cable from the scooby kenwood unit and then plugged it straight in the HU, but cannot find any signal, just noise.....cannot for the life of me figure out why?
I know the scoob has a windscreen aerial, does the kenwood standard unit have some kind of signal booster amp in it?
I have tied everything I can, have installed loads of HU and full systems but never come across this before, any help??

Thanks
I guess then I use the power amp remote turn on cable from the pioneer out?
Which lead on the scooby loom does it connect too?
I have used a autoleads pioneer to scooby patch lead, on the scooby connector side does one of those leads not actually connect to the autoleads interface, if so which colour lead is it - or is it a separate lead I need to find?
Thanks so much for the help, I had figured in my head it must have a antenna amp somewhere, new to scoobs and wasnt aware how it worked.

Thanks all, have pulled the HU out again.
Have found the two blue wires, they were connected by their plastic sleeves, but not the metal, without close inspection they looked connected - have given them a good push and now all is working well!
Thanks again for all your help, I have been a member on Audi and BMW forums, rarely ever had an answer to a question, certainly none this helpful, I am glad I have moved over!
