Default Need a 2Ch Amp... Recommendations?

Hi...

Decided to remove my heavy sub and boot build in search of a lighter more performance orientated approach.

Unfortunately my iPaul 4.300 amp is too big to fit under the front passenger seat so I'm looking for a decent replacement. Currently using two Rainbow 265 speakers in the front doors so just need a compact two channel amp ideally.... Any recommendations?

Any particular models? I'm toying with putting a shallow mount sub under the drivers seat now as well.... 3 channel amp? Is there such a thing as a 2.1 channel amp? :

buddy, how about a nice dual voice coil 10 like mine (but its not exactly light mate) - its not installed, just gathering dust in my hallway ;(

what sub you got at the mo?

I've heard good reviews on the PIONEER-TS-WX77A as well http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/8464.html

4-channel amp, channels 3 & 4 bridged, any decent JL amp will do this

Ok... let me clarify....

Currently I have an iPaul 4.300 Amp powering two Rainbow SLX265 Compos in the front doors. Rear door speakers are powered by the headunit.

I also have a JL 500/1 mono amp powering the big beastie JL 12W7 Sub in a ProWedge Sealed enclosure.

I love the sound and presence of the whole setup however it gets used very little so I'm looking to strip out the sub and amps and move to another car. I need a decent compact amp that can power the Rainbows and (I'm still considering) something like a Pioneer 10" Shallow Mount Sub (Car Audio & Security: Car Stereo, Speakers & Subwoofers, Car DVD Players, GPS and CD Changers) to go under the drivers seat (with a suitable second amp).....

....with the weight of all the amps and the sub as well as 18mm MDF and DynaMat lining my boot... the car is pretty heavy so just want to lighten the whole setup.

Genesis Profile 2 Amp for the Rainbows. Will fit under either of the seats too.

Very high quality amp with a small foot print.
