Default Clarion not holding stations

Hi there I have had my rb320 now for a 2weeks but have noticed that if i leave it for more than about 15 hours without starting it the Clarion double din head unit that subaru themselves sell as an upgrade just doesn't hold the radio stations and i have to tune them all in again.
Is anyone having this problem or does anyone have any ideas of how i could fix this?

Thanks Darren.

The only advice I can offer is to have the connections checked, it will do this if the battery is disconnected, so if either the live feed or the earth is intermittent?

Also check that there IS a permanent feed.......

I THINK there is either a small rechargeable battery or a capacitor in the radio that allows the battery to be disconnected for a short time, and still hold stations in memory.

If you leave it for some time, this will become discharged too, the stations will then be lost.

As I said, try earth, or PERMANENT live

I don't think it's going to be intermittent, myself, or it would do it when it was being driven too, with the resultant skipping of stations or crackling, which I assume it doesn't do?

Remove the headunit and check through the wiring with a tester. Could well be that the head unit had been changed in the past and put back to standard for the sale. You may find taped up wires if the iso lead wasnt used.
