Roadstar CD Changer

Roadstar used to come standard with cars like Metros, Maestros, Hyundais and Kias.
(not really true but that sort of quality).
Personal Opinion, save your money and buy a better quality unit best to stick with top manufacturers.
Although the may have improved, I would not expect high quality from them.

Avoid like the plauge. They look feel and sound absolutely frigging horrendous - worse than the Scooby OEM stuff. They are absolute bargain basement and just truly truly truly horrible. And that is from I who tolerate Jensen "efforts"

Hi all
A friend at work has a "Roadstar" 6 disc CD changer and Tuner headunit for sale £50 - 8 months old.
I'm thinking of buying it to replace Scoobs standard cassette job, but know little about the Roadstar brand.
So, opinions please - Is this a bargain I should snap up or avoid like the plague?
cheers
Neil
