yes .a 2 channel job with about 45-100 watts. That thing they call an amp in ahead unit is a joke... Add an amp and you will love the difference. Stick some "Brown bread stuff " in the doors.

Remember everyone... Next time you see a skip with some Carpet/underlay. Grab a load and put 2 layers under your car carpets in the boot/bulkhead area etc. This will make a great difference.

I use a cheapish (£249RRP £160 @ discount) KAC848 Kenwood 4 channel bridged to 2 channels to give them a quoted 150WRMS and it seems well matched. They are rated at 90WRMS, but on a cheap amp they always stretch the figures a bit so the headroom is nice for powerful transients and low distortion. They are a bit disappointing with Kenwood's version of 50WRMS 100W "Max" to each speaker, although much better than a headunit. Maybe a 2 channel amp with 100WRMS/ch would be good, but I suspect at least as expensive as the 4 channel - example KAC728. I am talking last years Kenwood model numbers. Think it is 949 and 729 now. A four channel can give you more flexibility as part of a system too, but basically seems a cheaper way to make two higher power channels for hungry speakers like these (at least for their budget).
