Somebody help me DIY fit a SYstem in my Banger!
ok guys
bought a new banger and it has a standard deck, however it only has 1 speaker which is dead i.e. popped and the other 3 missing lol
anyway i was thinking, how hard is it to fit a headphone socket to the standard deck? or does anyone know of a stereo that has a headphone jack fitted to it? pretty cheap?
as ive got a decent pc speaker set with subwoofer etc. lol and a cig lighter to mains plug and need the radio working properly for this 6 hour round trip i plan on doing.
if i can get a deck with headphone jack.. i can plug it into cig lighter along with satnav and throw the subwoofer under passenger seat and have one speaker under drivers seat and one in boot.
temp quick fix lol i dont need radio for the normal local journeys but jst coz its a long drive i need to come up with something so i aint bored on this drive.
lol will my idea work or not? i have no clue about car ice etc. never been into it.
any advice/ideas? let me know
