The hole can take 17cm speakers with an appropriate spacer. Either MDF or Autoleads etc for a Corsa (needs minor trimming).
Best advice I can give is get a 2x150watt amp and 17cm components for the front. Make covers for the door apertures and seal them in with Dynamat or similar.
The door interior is "wet". Don't use untreated wood or MDF to make covers as they'll turn to mush.

In respect to the 'wet' aspect, has anyone ever tried these?
