can you fit 6x9's in the rear shelf on a 2005 blob eye? i looked today and saw a cut out for speakers, just wondered if anyone had done so, and got some pictures?

You also need to make sure the speakers are not too deep, or you'll need to space them otherwise the magnet will attach itself to the rear boot spring. I plan to take mine out and tidy the whole job up. I can get some pics then

you'll get better sound with a decent set of components, which will fit without so much hassle

Would you need an amp to run componants properly?

if use use a componet set of 6x9 you will get the best of both worlds decent bass responce and clarity. ideally you would amp either the components or 6x9 would make a huge improvement.

But cant you get a decent sound out of 3 way 6x9s without an amp on a good head unit and much cheaper than componants.
I always thought componants where designed to run at a higher input

I have done this.

I had a shelf professionally made. I had to leave the car with them all day, but it saved any cutting out of the car rear shelf.

(cost an arm and leg though).
