turned off my car and the rear right speaker started humming and then cut out!!!
failure came up on the sony radio face!!!!
this happened with my previous stereo also!!!!
earlier the speaker done nothing but now its working again
any ideas???

this could be 2 things either the speaker cable shorting on the bodywork or the speaker is going short ciruit, if u smell the speaker magnet side if u smell a burning smell that could be the problem/ move the speaker in and out with even pressure it should move freely, again any greating or friction could indicate the speaker voice coil is grounding out on the pole peace
