hi all

right, pulled a load of stuff out of an old 5-series we were selling, got the reversing camera and the dvd unit. dvd unit fires up and plays dvd's through the monitor, but can't get it to switch over to 'monitor' function using the remote control. the dvd player unit has a brown wire on the back labelled 'ex monitor con'.... now i take it this must require an input, for the unit to recognise the camera is connected / switched on?

sorry for the windy and confusing post! will totally understand if nobody replies! had a tooth out today and feeling rather groggy!
