Default Adding a AVIC F900BT to RB320

Hi

I have the standard double din subaru stereo in my RB320.

I am considering getting a Pioneer 900BT and installing it myself.

Has anyone put one of these into an 07 STI? If I get an aftermarket ISO connector- does that include the car speed sensor for the navigation? Or is this a manual job?

Other than that the install looks straight forward... Has anyone put one of these in themselves? The local car audio place wants 250 notes for the pleasure!!!

Thanks

Ian

all you will need is an iso loom for the car which will have everything you need apart from handbrake, speed pulse and reverse(only needed for revers camera if fitted)you will have to run the microphone up to the a post for the phone kit part and thats it realy
it is a good bit of kit and the navi and phone do work well ive done a few at work were abouts are you in the country?

Am in London... probably why the installs are so expensive...

The speed pulse/handbrake- are they hard to do or indeed required? The guy in the stereo place went on about the speed pulse justifying the 250 quid installation fee...

Not bothered about the reverse camera...

Can the standard head unit do front/rear speakers AND a seperate amplified bass tube?

Speed Pulse Wire.

2005-2007
all except STi and Turbo: MMU white 35-pin connector, position 12, yellow/green

STI: MMU white 35-pin connector (2nd from top), position 26, yellow/green
