Problem with Kenwood KRC778

I've had this in the scoob for about a year now, but recently it's started to "forget" the tuning when the ignition is switched off - but it only forgets the memory No that is selected - all others are kept ok.
Anyone got any ideas on this one? Are these things worth getting repaired (I've got a 10 disc cd changer connected so i'd either have to stick with Kenwood or change both).
Does anyone else find the radio reception crap on these things - I've seen a few pics on this bbs of imprezas with bee-sting aerials - are these any better (the radio reception on my wife's Skoda is miles better!)

??? Strange. I'd check your ISO connector first to ensure that your permanent live isn't loose.
...but if it was, it'd lose everything? Hmm.
Not much help really, but check your cabling then get it sorted under warranty if you're sure the unit's faulty.
