Tv and gps antenna, Help needed
Hi Lads
I just got my new 2 din touchscreen tv dvd etc from ebay. It looks alright not the dearest looking thing but then again i did only pay 230 for it. Its brand new but the only thing is it appears to have come with out fitting instructions. Now i have no problem with the fittng and wiring of the unit but i just need to know where the best place to locate the tv and gps antennas. Also there appears to be a power lead attached to the tv antenna im guessing this is to amplify the signal but what voltage do ye think it might be 12?
Cheers
Brian
Ps the tv antenna consists of three wires (one power) going into a small box and then two wires coming out that are connected to what appears to be two rods about 2mm in diameter and around 10" long.

My GPS antenna is under the pull up panel that houses the clock on a newage. It will work through plastic not metal. TV ants will have to go around back window, not great in car but can usually find decent reception parked up. Of course you wouldn't be using TV whilst moving would you ?? I would expect power would be 12v to them.
http://www.restricted.alpine-electro...UE-T152_EN.pdf will show you where to mount the TV ants.
