As above please. How do you get the best from Sub and Amp?

assuming a single, twin voice coil sub. You have a choice of 2 ohm (parallel) or 8 ohm (series) operation, I think. After that it depends what amp you've got and how hot you want to run it.

It's easier to go louder running in parallel but it puts more strain on the amp.

For a 1 output amp or bridged mode, I'd say run the voicecoils in parallel but be careful with the gains on the amp.
