I've put in the 5010cs - love them and they fit perfectly (have a 2 door body shell classic) - I used the old speaker surrounds as spacers with no probs. Think the larger ones will fit too though...

Pretty easy to get the door cards off - I've got a 2 door - but imagine it's pretty similar - you'll have a couple of cover plates around the arm rest (on the door card) - carefully prize these off with a screw driver, and there will be screws to remove - from memory on my car, there's one under the middle of the arm rest, and another underneath the door opening catch. Then if you feel round the leading edge of the door, on the door card, there should/might(?) be a recess you can put your finger in, and start to gently pull the leading edge of the door card away, and it will start to release all the plastic poppers that hold it in place - don't yank it away though - as the electric window switches etc will still be wired into it!

I've found bass to be pretty good - but obviously not booming like a sub....!

Good luck!

6010cs's will go in as well without too much hassle. You can affix them to the original plastic mounts with very minor modifications, and using a steel mounting ring supplied with the speakers. basically mount speaker to steel ring, mount steel ring and speaker to original mount, insert. My experience comes from a 1998 wagon. Hope its of some help.
