Question Ipod/bluetooth radio

I am after a Stereo for the car which has Ipod and Bluetooth connections. It doesn't have to be double din but would be better.

Can anyone recommend anything? (not too expensive)

I have an Alpine CDA-9883 full speed ipod jobbie that does have a function for Bluetooth. Or failing that, just get a Patriot thing from halfords or any ICE shop.

When you say a function do you have to add something to it or is it built in?

According to the Alpine website, you have to buy a add on - Bluetooth & USB - Alpine - Europe - Mobile Media Solutions -for it to work. I don't think you can buy a HU that comes with all the bluetooth bits as standard

I see....

Well perhaps this is the case and you need the accessory to make the HU bluetooth compatible?

...but according to the Alpine website is says it has bluetooth

CDA-9883R - Alpine - Europe - Mobile Media Solutions

Might be a good idea to talk to a ICE installer.

I've just got a Sony MEX-BT2500 for £80 (IIRC, got it a few weeks back and fitted today). Has Bluetooth Streaming Media and built-in phone hands free and an aux socket on the front for the iPod. Job done for less than a ton. Oh, and I can still be heard clearly on the hands free in a Nissan Skyline with HKS system and de-cat.

EDIT: sorry, Dixons are doing it for £90, not £80.
