OK after being put off fitting my Ifinity 6X9 in the rear, I am going to sell them and fit some 605 Infinity's in the front, and a sub in the boot.
My question is where is the best place to mount a Amp in the front.
Also will the speekers fit behind the orignal grills?
How much Dynomat stuff do I need in the front door.

P.S get a full Scoobysport system, if you haven't!

Amp, depending on the size, may fit under the passenger seat. Check first!

Your new speakers will fit without modifying the grills, which is nice.

And as for dynomat, one roll should do both doors IMHO.

Nah - 3 rolls in the two doors is much better. Make sure you get it on all the panels

Opinion varies

I found 1 roll sufficient, Jza found more to give better effect. It's a question of how far you want to go

If I had 3 rolls I can think of better places to stick it!
It probably depends on what sort of sound-deadening it is - if a cheaper/less effective type of soundproofing is used, more will be needed (obviously), so it just depends what you're using...
I only have one layer of 'Dynamat Extreme' in the doors on the botton half (so one sheet does both) & find that despite having layers & layers of various sound insulators in the boot, the boot is still louder than the front doors, i.e. half a sheet per door works pretty well.
So, in a few less words () I agree with Chiark!

Just read stuff a bit more carefully - Brown Bread may well need 3 layers as it's not quite as effective as the far more expensive Dynamat Extreme stuff, & also doesn't have the spongy stuff that helps too. Or I'm told it doesn't anyway.
