Hi guys I need some help, I am assuming I am going to need a suppressor or something...

I installed an Amp over the weekend nothing amazing and was really easy as all the wiring was already in place, my problem is whne it powers I can hear noise possibly a pulsing from the car.. this is with or without the engine running although I get a whole new set of noises / whistleing once the car is running.. are their any clever tricks, anything I can check.. the earth wire looks like its a big bit speaker wire and its attached the boot under the parcel shelf... could that cause the problem?

The power is run up one side ofthe car the RCA the other... if that helps at all?

any help / ideas would be great, it sounds ok once I get it loud other than that its really nastly buzz's and whistley...
