Watching ipod video on Kenwood DDX 7029
Just bought a Kenwood DDX 7029 head unit and i'm really pleased with it but i seem to have a problem watching Video though my ipod video.I get sound but no picture ive pressed the v sel button but still no picture just sound.My Ipod is one of the new gen iPods(160 Gb)and the video plays fine on there.
I've even watched this video i found on youtube but even this doesn't work

On the rear of your Kenwood DDX-7029 there are 2 inputs for the iPod, either iPod audio in or iPod video in, you will need to connect your ipod from audio to video to watch, bit of a pain.

richie, am i right in thinking them yours is a gen 6 ipod?
and confirmed fully working? i have a gen 5 which is fine, but some people with nanos etc have complained they cant watch their videos and I wasnt sure if the new gen 6 video would work.

While we are on the subject of DDX 7029 does anyone know what harddrive is compatible with the usb interface? i have just bought a 60gb usb powered hdd and it doesnt recognise it being plugged in any ideas?

My older video Ipod needed the video settings on the ipod iteself set to TV-Out = Yes, set this way it doesn't play the video on the ipod screen but does on the alpine screen, TV-Out = No plays on the ipod and only sound on the headunit.
Works as above for the dock in the house aswell.
