I have one of the above Double Din Head units in a 2002 Legacy Outback. Now I know this unit was also fitted to the 01-02 Imprezza range, hence my asking on here for advice...

I wish to utilise the CD Changer socket to attached an MP3 player/Ipod type socket. The specific CD Changer is H6250AE500.

I have contacted both Subaru and Kenwood to see if they can give me specific details of what cable connection I would require (Just Kenwood have two different sorts). Neither Kenwood or Subaru have given me a definative answer, stating that I should get an FM Modulator!

Has anyone on here got any experience of these headunits?

What I'm looking for is pictures of the rear of the headunit - if anyone has got one lying around they've already removed from the dashboard?

Or, if anyone has managed to connect an MP3 player or iPod to one of these headunits, I'd be grateful for details of which connections/cables you utilised and where you obtained them from.
