Single or double DIN? What is your Budget? Do you need speakers/sub too?

got an alpine headunit lately, hidden cable into the glovebox for the ipod connection. cde-9850 ri, drop down fascia for cd's pretty flash. very pleased with it, excellent sound tho i pimped the speakers as well (infinity 5010 components). the ipod search isn't as great as it's cracked up to be unless you're into playlists. alternatively you can search using the ipod before connecting (ipod controls are disabled when it's connected). headunit lights up in a choice of red or blue - blue for day, red for nightvision stealth

now trying to work out where to put a sub in my wagon. not many options as i have the seats down much of the time with wet and sandy kite/windsurf kit in the back

any thoughts welcome
