I need some spacers in order to fit a set of components but the spacers need to be 24mm thick as the speakers are 77mm deep and i dont want the hassle of windows hitting the magnets so does anyone know where i can get a set from or is it common practice to make your own?

As you have suggested its as easy to make ur own out of some MDF.

Make your own from 2 x 12mm MDF. Or maybe the Corsa adaptors will be deep enough.

You need to be careful the speakers don't touch the door card with such deep spacers.

OK i have a bit of a problem in that i dont have a garage or access to a jigsaw so are there any aftermarket spacers available for the impreza in 24mm? if so can anyone point me in the general direction

You could always ask a friendly ICE place to make them for you
It takes them about 5 minutes..... with the right tools and they usually have tonnes of mdf
I have about 3 pairs but I have to change each year due to water ingress

Aftermarket spacers are available, but not cheap.

I bought mine from the US and it did save A LOT OF HASSLE. I couldn't be bothered with cutting all the MDF and getting the right shape etc. So this is an option.

cheers for that i think i can get away with 18mm spacers now.i did want to buy proper ones but as i plan on fitting the speakers on saturday im going to have to use the template and get some MDF and make them myself
