Does anyone have a Kenwood CD in MY01?
#1
My CD Changer - fitted under the boot lid on a bracket jumps over the slightest bump.
Not a huge problem but, annoying, has anyone
else experienced this ?
Any solutions to the problem ?
The bracket is firmly secured to the Lid.
Ta!
TeeCee.

Fitted mine under the passenger seat, has never given a problem.
Has the position ***** been set correctly ?
All the best,
John Catlin
TeeCee,
Just had another thought, the transportation screws have been removed ?

Hi John,
Thanks for your input.
<passenger seat> Now that sounds like a solution.
<Has the position ***** been set correctly ?>
Don't know, how could I tell?
<transportation screws have been removed>
Fairly sure they have been.
Regards,
TeeCee.

The boot isn't the greatest place because it is likely to move the most - the middle of the car is the best damped... Regarding the spring settings, there'll be two little slides somewhere on the unit (one on the top and one on the side for my Kenwood) that shows 0, 45 and 90 degree settings.
Set these for horizontal mounting
